Welcome

This is a program designed to make you into a professional Huber astrologer with a direct one-on-one, fun and engaging curriculum. It works for anyone with a strong interest in relating to themselves and the world around them at a deeper and more authentic level. This is a full, supportive diploma program which has proven successful through 1000’s of astrology students and approved through the APAE (Advisory Panel on Astrological Education). As such, you can be confident that you will graduate knowing your stuff.

Deciding if this is the right fit:

  • I want a program that is supportive, complete and provides professional depth insights for my clients

  • I’m willing to dedicate ~1.5years (or so) into my studies.

  • I’m looking for a tried-and-true core system that I will use for the rest of my life.

  • I’ve tried online video-based/Facebook group courses and I realize it wasn’t as comprehensive as I was led to believe.

  • You want a tutor that is dedicated to you, flexible, and will align with your goals and future astrological business model.

Complete Diploma in Huber Astrology

The Huber system has over 50 years of research and a strong following. While the original APA does not offer the diploma program anymore, I have preserved the original curriculum and offer it here, in keeping with the original intention and methodology. The APAI (Association of Professional Astrologers International) has already vetted this curriculum to ensure it meets the strong standards for astrological coursework. You can be sure you are learning a reliable system that works.

The process:

We will use your charts; the charts of a partner/friend; and mine. This will give you lots of real-world experience. Showing up for a workshop is not enough. Integrating astrological principles requires a commitment and experiential process of learning with real-world examples.

All content is 100% taught by me, as we partner together with your learning goals. As you work through each of the 8 modules we will stay connected through email, and meet once per module over Zoom, or in-person. I can also send quick videos clips or pdfs. You’ll be fully supported and we’ll have loads of connection.

Rate per module is $320 CDN (taxes included). Please note that I generally have 3-5 students per year and all costs go back into the school for my further training, seminars, workshops, and professional fees. The cost is meant to provide you with a huge amount of personal support. I’m never far away and I’m here to help to the best of my ability. I have Huber astrologers who generously donate their time to helping me, answering questions and general “Mother Hen” taking care of my needs/the school 😊✨.

The main textbook is Astrological Psychology The Huber Method, which is the original APA Diploma process. Additional PDFs, and books are highly recommended, and required, as we move through the modules. In total, you can expect to pay an additional $100-150 (CDN) in books, but many students buy the entire collection of Huber at various stages.

This book is available in many online stores, and through the APA, Hopewell Publishing. You will need to purchase this book.

FAQ:

Q: How do we work together?

A: We’ll use the original curriculum, the 8-module Huber diploma program. These books are available here and I will supply additional pdfs, and online student section/site resources etc. to support your learning. My program is asynchronous, meaning you will work at your own pace and we connect, go back and forth. It’s a horizontal approach, not stuffy or top-down. These aren’t tests in the classical sense. You are using real charts and I will offer feedback as you twist and turn your way through the modules. By working closely together I can ensure you are grasping the content at an authentic level. I’m confident in this approach, having worked in curriculum design and assessment for many years. The original APA curriculum is excellent and any steps we take to lessen your fear and ensure you are being supported and forged into a professional astrologer will be time well spent.

There are 8 modules and sections (usually 3-4) per module. Most of the time you will be emailing me back and forth and Zoom connecting as needed. This is an incredibly reliable means to learn astrology. Sitting passively in a workshop will do nothing… you need to get deep into charts using real people, and real timelines. We can meet over Zoom once per module. The point is to reduce your fear, and give you the tools and experience to be a confident Huber astrologer. Each unit takes approximately 1.5-2 months. We meet over Zoom (or in-person if you’re local) and we get to know each other. It’s a relationship of colleagues and equals which provides a level of intimate learning and connection. It’s fun and we’re dynamic in how we approach your learning. For example, if you are a current therapist, coach, astrologer we can bring in examples you are currently working with to make the learning “real” and more direct. The beauty of this process id that the diploma curriculum is very well laid-out, and a joy to work through. When you combine this with a fun, committed partnering it makes for an enjoyable and authentic learning experience. I’m here to help1

Q: Who is this for?

A: Anyone wanting to explore themselves and others at an authentic, deep level using a trusted form of astrological psychosylogy. Therapists, coaches, meditation practitioners, and astrologers looking to work at a professional, refined level. As a sophisticated system, the Hubers have tested and validated the horoscopes to align and support people’s lived experiences. It works very well, and in the area of non-predictive, holistic astrology the Huber method is very strong. Most of my students are therapists or coaches, or work in the presence profession. They want tools that work! Read more on Huber

Q: Will I be able to offer consultations afterward?

A: Yes 100%. It’s my goal to support you in your business/vocation. I will support you in developing astrological competencies that are ethically and professionally aligned. After you are finished we can relate as colleagues and stay connected, bringing more Huber to the world. There are growing communities of professionals focused on the Huber method.

The Hubers and the 1000’s of graduate astrologers use this system day in and day out with clients in professional contexts. These are psychologists, therapists, coaches, doctors, and presence-profession professionals. They need tools that work quickly and effectively and that are professionally and ethically supportive. You can be confident in using Huber with your clients to provide the freedom they seek.

Q: Is there any math?

A: No, you won’t be reliving grade 8 math class. I assume you can count to 360 (degrees in a circle). Beyond that you are using simple math additions…. no trigonometry I assure you.

Q: Is it fun? Can I become an astrologer after this?

A: Yes and yes. More importantly, you will be using a holistic system that will help many people in your private practice. You’ll be better equipped than most if you are committed to engaging the 8 modules. I’m easy to work with! I want you to be successful.

Q: What do I need to do to succeed? How long does it take to complete?

A: Simply sign up, and stay on the bus. The entire program may take 8 months, but it could take 2-3 years, also, depending on your motivation. I have added more in-person options (Zoom also) so your questions can be answered quickly and more thoroughly than standard email-based. I’m interested and want you to succeed as an astrologer and I’m committed to your development and goals. We’ll get there!

Q: What is it like to study Huber?

A: I found it thoroughly enriching and a lot of fun because you can “see” the chart/person so easily. I’m a very attentive teacher and I will find a way to meet your learning needs. I worked in adult literacy/development for over 12 years (my degrees are in adult education and human development). My process affirms your learning style and is supportive, non-rushed, and inclusive to your process. We’ll get there based on your preferred learning method.

Q: What do i get when I complete the training?

A: You receive a Diploma in Huber Astrological Psychosynthesis (Dipl. Huber Astr.) and you become a colleague. This allows us to stay together and we can continue to support and bring more Huber to the world. I’ll be here to support you and provide support as you build your business. It also allows you to feel confident building your practice, knowing I’m here as a colleague to support you and vice-versa. There’s a large community of Huber, and we can help build into their wonderfully supportive method of astrological psychosynthesis. You won’t be left alone and as you grow your business I’ll be here to help, and hopefully vice-versa. Two minds are better than one (I’m a Gemini ♊️).
