Love Beyond Venus’s Desire Nature.

If you look for the perfect relationship, expecting synastry, or the stars to hand-deliver you the promised relationship, you’re doomed before you even begin. But if we treat relationships as opportunities for development, to learn about the other and ourselves at a depth level, then our chances for ever-after and forever more are more possible.

Planetary Energies, The Gods of Love

For even a kiss to occur we need the harmonizing principle, desire nature, the allure, attraction and moment of beauty within Venus. But the assertive qualities of Mars are also needed -- to “go in for the kill” and wrap your arm around your beloved, lips puckered. In every birth chart each of us, from humanoid to penguin, contains various mixtures of Venus, Mars, and all other planets. Planets represent our inner drives and both Venus and Mars are subconscious drives. The full experience of a relationship, however, demand than Venus and Mars. Relationships live and die based on our abilities, or inabilities, to communicate, express emotion, etc. We’re complex humanoids full of contractions in our psyche!

Full Archetypal Expression; Full Relating

For the remainder of the fairy tale to hold we need all our archetypes, our psychic drives, to merge and be willing to participate together. We need Saturn’s stability; Jupiter's beneficence; Mercury’s communication, and so on. Relationship charts, by comparing the archetypes between two lovers, is the first step in bringing these energies within. And we need all our troops operating at their best if we want the forever after to make it past Season 1 (or episode 1!). 

By comparing the two birth charts we can see the inner motivation of the lovebirds. What drives you, or them? How do we find a synthesis and unification of these needs so that our partnership can grow effectively?
